Hello, We’re Bulldog Skincare for Men. Whether you have regular, dry, sensitive, oily or mature skin, Bulldog is here to help you look and feel your best.
The idea for Bulldog was born in 2005 when founder, Simon Duffy, noticed that there were no straightforward skincare options that were made for him. Looking at the shelves, there were products he used, but no products he loved.
Bulldog is Man’s Best Friend
Whether you have the face of angel or the skin of a rhino, Bulldog is on your side. Our straightforward ranges for normal, sensitive, oily or mature skin are purpose built for men and specially formulated to help you look and feel your best.
Products We Love Made by People We Know
We’re proud of our products and of the people who make them.
Our products contain brilliant natural ingredients like the camelina, green tea and aloe vera in our Original range. We combine these with carefully selected, man-made ingredients to offer superb performance at an affordable price.
We make most of our products here in the UK, in factories run by people we know and trust.
Taking the Lead
From our very first day, we’ve always tried to make decisions that our customers could be proud of.
We never use ingredients from animal sources and are certified by Cruelty Free International. All our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. We have never used plastic microbeads, synthetic fragrances or artificial colours.
Telling Our Sustainbility Story
We Make Better Choices So You Can Too
At Bulldog, sustainability isn’t an after-thought. It’s central to what we do.
We balance making decisions that are right for men’s skincare with those that are right for the planet, without hitting you in the pocket. It’s a delicate balance, which is why every new product we create comes with a series of unique choices.
And we make those sometimes tough choices in order to make premium products that are affordable and accessible to all men. When you chose Bulldog, you’re not compromising on quality or price, and you’re not compromising the environment.
First Mile Recycling Scheme
Much of what we throw away could actually be recycled and turned into something new, but all too often it ends up in the bin. Even relying on council provided recycling services doesn’t mean you have access to the latest in sustainable recycling solutions.
We work with First Mile a leader in waste and recycling who put sustainability at the heart of everything they do.
You can now simply pop your tubes in the post to us and we’ll make sure they get recycled and turned back into new plastic tubes. It’s all about the closed-loop economy.
CarbonNeutral® Certified Products
Sustainability is more than just a packaging choice, it’s about the impact on the environment from cradle to grave.
We have worked with industry experts, natural capital partners, to assess the carbon impact of our product from ingredients, to manufacture, to storage, to supply chain to understand the carbon impact of our Moisturisers.
Carrying out a full assessment of our hero product has allowed us to better understand the impact it and our other products have on the environment. Now that we know the impact our products have, we can and will be taking action to reduce their pawprint. Plus we can offset the carbon working with Acre Amazonian Rainforest Project.
Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic
Recycling your waste is only a benefit to the environment if it is then given a second life and used again.
Where appropriate (i.e. where it will not be detrimental to your experience of using the product) we use post-consumer recycled plastic.
Our amber bottles and jars are made from PCR plastic that re-uses recycled plastic and means that additional plastic is not created. It’s all about the closed-loop economy.
Introducing Our Sweet New Packaging
You wont notice a difference when you see our new packaging, but it’s making a positive difference where it counts. Each year skincare companies use lots of plastic in their packaging. Most of this plastic is made from fossil fuels, which are non-renewable and release carbon dioxide which contributes to global warming.
Our Packaging is Made From Sugarcane Plastic
The tubes that Bulldog’s products come in are different. That’s because Bulldog is the first male skincare brand in the world to use sugarcane as a raw material in our packaging. So instead of using plastic from fossil fuels, Bulldog’s tubes use sugarcane plastic, made from Brazilian sugarcane, a renewable source that needs little more than natural rainfall to grow. Not bad for a men’s moisturiser, eh?
