Every day is game day for the environment.
The world’s first barista standard reusable cup.
Available in a range of materials, colours and sizes, there is a KeepCup to suit each and everyone.
We are on a mission to ensure the world neither wants, needs or uses disposable cups. We have designed and manufactured the world’s first barista standard reusable cup. Designed for the coffee maker, our products elevate the taste and drinking pleasure of coffee on the go.
Made to be loved and looked after.
Use it and join the revolution, reuse it and change the world.
Don’t waste today.
For the coffee maker. Our drafted vessel ensures the perfect pour, and fits under coffee machine group heads, keeping extraction and crema intact. KeepCup sizes replicate industry standard single-use cup volumes for the right coffee-to-milk ratio, ease of cafe workflow and speed of service.
Designed for drinking pleasure on the go
Our splashproof, press fit lid allows room for your nose, while the mouthpiece ensures optimal liquid flow and aroma release. Lovely to drink from with the lid on or off, it’s lightweight, easy to carry and fits comfortably in your hand and cup holders.
Doing good business
1% of all sales revenue is given to protect the environment, and as a single-use free business, we help convert people and organisations into committed reusers. We’re BCorp certified, which means we measure our impact to improve social and environmental performance. We manufacture locally where possible, and all products are hand-assembled in our warehouses to keep jobs in local communities.
Hygienic and easy to look after
The plug closure keeps the mouthpiece covered when not in use, and our products are easily assembled to make cleaning and care easy. All our products are independently lab tested to ensure they’re free from BPA, BPS, phthalates including DEHP, lead and cadmium.
Made to last
KeepCup is designed using durable parts made fit for purpose. Modular design means our components fit across multiple products so you can replace the part, not the product.
Let’s finish what we started.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
– Margaret Mead
Big positive changes are happening, from offices to nations – disposable straws, bottled water, plastic bags and disposable cups are being banned.
Ten years in, we are here to finish what we started.
We believe collective individual action is a powerful catalyst for change. Carrying KeepCup is a signifier of intention of the world we want to live in, so it’s important to that we represent those values as an organisation.
We believe in the power of cultural influence, not with a top down style maker approach, but a belief that the everyday choices we make shape the future. As sales in reusables soar, more than ever our focus is on impact. We measure our success in use and reuse, and increasingly in how workplaces, events and cities are going disposable free.
Our approach has always been to design a strong and responsible supply chain to reduce waste and energy consumption across our entire business. Local manufacture is a strong building block; it means we invest in the community in which we operate, and we reduce the environmental cost of logistics. Local manufacture supports the transition to a circular economy.
When we started our business, we were a local solution to a local problem, so we manufactured in Australia. Ten years later we remain Australian made for the Australian market. In 2016 we began production in the UK to reduce our transit footprint. The savings are not financial; they are environmental.
Our retail boxes are made from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified cardboard. The insert brochures included with each KeepCup are printed on FSC certified paper. All are manufactured and printed locally, in Australia and the UK.
Our outer cartons are made from 100% recycled cardboard. They’re manufactured locally at each of our three global hubs; Australia, the UK and the USA.
Our Australian office has been solar powered since 2015, and in 2019 our UK office went solar.
There is no such thing as free freight. We apply shipping costs to every order – this is a decision we made as a business to highlight that freight always has a cost, particularly for the environment.
We ask customers to be conscious of the environmental costs of shipping goods and consider this impact as we do, in our purchasing decisions. We encourage you to shop locally and support your local cafés.
We’ve been a B Corporation since 2014, and are one of the founding B Corps in Australia. Being part of this community inspires us to pursue better ways to manufacture, reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products are fit for purpose.
B Corps measure and help businesses improve performance beyond profit, with a focus on transparency, environmental impact, community and employee wellbeing.
1% For The Planet
2018 saw growing momentum in reduce and reuse – plastic straws, single-use plastic bags, disposable cups and cutlery being banned by individuals, businesses and governments. Continued decisive action is required by business and by government to reduce the systemic waste and consumption that is destroying ecosystems and committing our descendants to a bleak future.
