Established in 2010, The Bluebeards Revenge is a men’s shave, beard, hair and body grooming brand based in the South West of England. From its coastal roots, it has amassed a global appeal thanks to its light-hearted approach to serious skin, beard and hair care.

We won’t lie to you – The Bluebeards Revenge wasn’t created on the back of detailed business plans; it was born out of a bet! It all started during a rum-fuelled evening in the winter of 2009, when the Bluebeard-in-Chief was challenged to find a range of men’s shaving products that could stand up to the toughest stubbles known to man.

As a Former Royal Marine Commando, hardened by his years of service, he jumped at the challenge. The problem was, no such range existed. Did he give up? Hell no. Instead, he created something daringly different for men all over the world.

In the summer that followed, he proudly launched The Bluebeards Revenge to the masses. Word got out about a “new range of long-lasting products with a skull and crossbones logo” and we filled newspapers, magazines and websites all over the world. Alongside the renaissance of barbershops, we grew and grew. Awards started to fill our walls and requests started to fill our inboxes. Our light-hearted skull and crossbones brand had become a global success!

It was all hands-on deck to keep up with orders and create quality grooming products that stayed true to our roots as our range doubled, then tripled, in size. We became so much more than a plucky shaving brand and amassed a range that covered everything a man could need: shaving products that can tackle the toughest stubbles, a beard and moustache range that can tame a lion’s mane, hair styling products that are championed by barbers, even a selection of all-conquering body and skin care essentials that cover every eventuality.

Today, our “plucky shaving brand” has sold millions of products across more than 100 countries. The quality and iconic appearance of our products have seen them endorsed by some of the world’s best barbers, magazines and men. With their support, we continue to make free-thinking guys look and feel great and invite you along for the journey.

Our Environmental Policy:

Having worked our asses off to establish a global appeal, we are very aware of how our actions impact the world around us. And while we’re extremely proud of the ripples we’ve created, we also understand the responsibility that comes with them.

Our on-going mission is to ensure that we continue to reinforce the same high standards we’re known for, while managing the impact we have on the environment around us as we go about our business. For us, this is an ever-evolving journey that always aims to balance the social and environmental responsibilities that we treasure.


We’re always striving to improve the recyclability of all of our products and packaging, with a goal to drastically reduce the amount of virgin plastic and single-use packaging we use by 2022.

The Bluebeards Revenge

Since our rebrand in 2019, we’ve made some big changes to our range, which we hope are for the better! Our old plastic tubs have now been replaced with 100% recyclable aluminium tins. When bottles are required for our products, we now use 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. These bottles can also be infinitely reused or refilled, so there’s no reason to chuck them away. To reduce the amount of single-use packaging our products create, we’ve also removed a number of them from their cardboard cartons.

We’re also working hard to make sure the packaging you find inside your orders is eco-friendly by removing plastic void-fills whenever possible. Instead, we use recycled cardboard and paper to safety secure your products for shipping. If chips are used, they are made from cellulose, which is compostable.

Vegetarian & Vegan

All of our products are vegetarian friendly, and over 75% are vegan friendly, demonstrating our efforts to reduce the amount of animal-based materials we use.

Of course, we understand there is always more work to be done, which is why we’re constantly working with our suppliers to bring the best alternative ingredients to our range. We strongly oppose the practice of animal testing and ensure that none is conducted in the sourcing, testing and production of any of our products. Instead, our products are sampled and scrutinized by us and a selection of the UK’s finest barbers – only then can we guarantee their performance and safety for you.

We take the utmost care when purchasing the raw materials that make your favourite products. That’s why we work tirelessly to secure these materials from ethically consistent and sustainable sources, allowing you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the end results!

We always put an emphasis on developing responsible partnerships with our suppliers and associates during this process, making sure they share the same common principles of fair and honest trading that we do.

Any undertakings to achieve these goals are conducted in compliance with relevant local environmental, social and ethical legislations. We take all the reasonable and practical steps possible and reserve the right to assess any of our suppliers to ensure that the required standards are being met.
